Privacy Policy for Bindify

Bindify (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Bindify mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

We collect account information such as your email address, username, display name, profile photo, banner image, and account identifiers.

If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Apple or Google, we receive account information needed to create and authenticate your Bindify account.

User Content

We collect content you create or upload in Bindify, including binder layouts, binder settings, uploaded images, collection data, wishlist data, card and sealed product entries, posts, comments, likes, follows, reports, blocked users, and other content you choose to save or share.

Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we collect push notification tokens so we can send notifications related to app activity, such as follows, likes, comments, and other social interactions.

Usage and Technical Data

We may collect technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, such as device information, app interactions, feature usage, authentication events, error information, and IP address.

Purchases and Subscription Status

Bindify offers optional Bindify+ subscriptions. We may receive purchase, entitlement, product, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore-purchase information from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or similar billing and entitlement providers so we can unlock paid features and provide support. Bindify does not receive or store full payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate Bindify
• Save and sync your binders, collections, wishlist, and profile
• Display public profiles, public binders, posts, comments, and social activity
• Enable sharing and social features
• Send notifications if enabled
• Respond to support requests
• Review reports and prevent abuse
• Improve app performance, reliability, and features
• Protect the security of the Service

3. User-Generated Content

Bindify includes user-generated content. Content you create, upload, or share may be stored by the Service.

Some content may be visible to other users depending on your settings, including public binders, profile information, posts, comments, likes, and follows. Private binders are intended to be visible only to you.

Uploaded images and public content may be stored using third-party cloud storage and may be delivered through public or signed URLs as needed to display app features.

You are responsible for the content you upload or share.

4. Data Storage and Service Providers

Bindify uses third-party service providers to operate the Service, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server-side functions.

We may also use third-party services to retrieve trading card product, image, metadata, and pricing information.

Bindify uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements and related purchase events. App Store and Play Store billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google when you purchase through their stores.

These providers process information as needed to provide the Service, secure accounts, sync data, manage subscriptions, answer support requests, and meet legal obligations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us operate Bindify
• Legal authorities if required by law
• Other users, when you choose to make content public or interact through social features

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

You can delete your account in the app from Account Settings. Account deletion removes your account and related app data from active systems, subject to backup retention and legal, security, or fraud-prevention requirements.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, including in the United Kingdom, European Union, or European Economic Area, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data.

You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent may limit features that require the related data or permission.

9. Children’s Privacy

Bindify is intended for users who are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in their country if that age is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the required age.

10. Payments and Subscriptions

Bindify+ is optional paid access to premium features. Payment processing, trials, renewals, cancellations, refund requests, and subscription management are handled by the app store or payment provider used for the purchase. We use subscription status and entitlement information to unlock premium features, prevent abuse, provide customer support, and maintain purchase records.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
